Its maximum altitude is 590m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><em>\"... Pietricica Peak, this imposing rock massif which, according to some, gave its name to the settlement where we are now. Pietricica does not really invite the locals or strangers to visit it, because of its steep slopes, barren rocks, and lack of greenery\u2014as it appears to those who look at it from the city.\"<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">described writer\u00a0<strong>Victor N\u0103molaru<\/strong>\u00a0in his book \"A Short Tourist Guide to Piatra-Neam\u021b,\" published in 1969, at a time when vegetation was quite scarce. However, things have changed since then!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The same author continues:\u00a0<em>\"Tourists who still want to get to know it better and visit it have nothing to regret. The panorama that opens up before your eyes includes, from the top, the imposing creation of nature\u2014Mount Ceahl\u0103u, the Bistri\u021ba Valley, the surrounding hills, stretching far into the plain.
