The Central Park in Piatra-Neamț is also known as "Youth Park" due to the theater located here, one of the city's monumental buildings. It is also called "Stefan cel Mare Park" thanks to the statue located in the heart of the park, but also to the Royal Court built nearby during the reign of the famous medieval ruler.

The park is where the Christmas Market takes place, as well as other events, including the New Year's Eve party organized for the general public. On certain weekends, the street connecting the Theater and the Ceahlău Hotel is closed, and the entire area becomes pedestrianized.
